Our Beliefs

About The Church

We do not believe the Church is merely a building, but is comprised of everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is made up of every nation, people and tongue. It is the church through which God does His work on the earth. It is through the church that people can experience the love and generosity of God.

About Man

We believe that Man was created to have a relationship with God. We believe in the total depravity of man. We believe that man is born in sin because of the sins of the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. We believe the only way man can be redeemed back to God is to accept God’s son Jesus as Lord and Savior of one’s life.

About The Bible

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word Of God. We believe this is the primary way by which God communicates with mankind. We believe that the Bible contains 66 books written by Holy Men Of God as they were moved upon by the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible can be backed up not only by its own pages, but by thousands of archeological finds and a host of other proofs.

About God- Father

We believe that there is one divine being who has existed eternally. He has no beginning and no end. He makes Himself known to man in three distinct, also equally divine persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We call this The Trinity. While we or no one else can fully comprehend God, (because He is infinite and we are finite), we learn who He is through the Bible.

About Jesus-Son

We Believe that Jesus is the only Son Of God. He was conceived of a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit. He grew up to live a perfect, sinless life. At the early age of 33 He willingly gave up His life for the sins of every human that ever lived and ever will live. This was a once and for all sacrifice for all mankind’s sin (John 3:16). Since He and He alone lived a perfect life, He is the only one who is able to save us and make us right before God. When we are saved through him, God sees his righteousness on us, thus granting us entrance into Heaven. Jesus is the only way to God, and the only way by which we can be saved.

About The Holy Spirit

We Believe The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. We believe that upon salvation a new believer receives the Holy Spirit as a free gift. We believe in the baptism of The Holy Spirit that empowers him/her for Christian service. We believe the Holy Spirit guides a Christian’s walk, affecting every area of his/her life. We believe the Holy Spirit aides in helping the believer to understand what they are reading in the Bible. We believe that the Holy Spirit gives various spiritual gifts to build up and edify the Body Of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-12, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
